Bonjour Détroit is proud to coordinate the inaugural
Jeux de la francophonie du Michigan,
a full day bringing together 300 high school French learners, their teachers, university partners, and community leaders to celebrate the richness of the Francophone world.

What's on the program

This unique event will feature:

  • Interactive workshops led by professionals from diverse fields

  • Hands‑on activities exploring global and local Francophone cultures

  • A university forum connecting students with French programs across Michigan

  • A friendly quiz competition based on discoveries made throughout the day

  • Opportunities for volunteers, mentors, and partners to engage directly with youth

REGISTRATION DETAILS

  • Registration is open until February 27, or until a capacity of 300 students is reached.
  • A $5 fee per student is collected at time of registration.

This event is organized in partnership with Wayne State University and with teachers from
Central Michigan University, Michigan State University, the University of Michigan, Detroit Public Schools Community District, International Academy, and Rochester Hills High School.
